Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese Medicine defines health as a dynamic balance in the flow of vital energy or “Qi”. Dr. Wong applies this abstract view of health and the body to re-balance the flow of Qi within various organ systems. The flow of Qi can be regulated through Eastern herbs and through acupuncture, where very thin sterile needles are inserted into specific points in the skin and muscles. The practice of acupuncture has been around for over two thousand years and has been shown to be very effective in pain relief and chronic illness.
